Osman Badat is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (ICAEW) and has spent over seven years in the small and medium practices in the United Kingdom. Following his return to Mauritius, he spent a number of years with the city firm and a further 10 years with the 2nd largest conglomerate in the country before embarking on this partnership professional practice. Osman Badat currently sits as a Board Member of The Mauritius Institute of Professional Accountants (MIPA) and the Financial Reporting Council (FRC). He was the former Chairman of the Society of Chartered Accountants and also former Chairman of The Mauritius Institute of Professional Accountants (MIPA).

The industry expertise covers business consultancy relating to accounting and taxation issues and its legislative changes, manufacturing, retailers, investments and related professional practices.
