McMillan Woods Celebrates Chinese New Year Luncheon in Support of Visit Malaysia 2026 Initiative

Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur, 26 January 2026 – McMillan Woods recently hosted its Chinese New Year Luncheon at Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur, bringing together team members for a joyful and meaningful celebration in the spirit of 新春佳节. The luncheon was held in conjunction with the Visit Malaysia 2026 initiative, supporting the collaboration between Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur and the renowned Village Park Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng, highlighting Malaysia’s rich culinary heritage.

A key highlight of the event was the ‘Yee Sang’ (捞生 / 鱼生) tossing session, symbolising 兴旺发、团结与和谐 (prosperity, unity and harmony). The activity was enthusiastically embraced by McM team members of diverse ethnic backgrounds, reflecting McMillan Woods’ commitment to cultivating a harmonious working culture (团队精神) while promoting Chinese traditions and festive joy within a multicultural environment.
